In count one, particulars of the offence are that Munyinda Munukayumbwa, on 6th March 2019 in Mongu district of the Western Province of the Republic of Zambia, whilst acting together with unknown people without lawful authority, did make preparation for carrying on warlike undertaking by a way of circulating on his Facebook account, in the names Mohlompehi Munyinda Wa Munukayumbwa, an article titled “Real servants are needed at the BRE. The current ones are just followers”.
In count two, particulars of this offence are that Munyinda Munukayumbwa, on 26th March, 2019 in Mongu district of the Western Province of the Republic of Zambia, whilst acting together with unknown people without lawful authority, did make preparation for carrying on warlike undertaking by a way of circulating on his Facebook account, in the names Mohlompehi Munyinda Wa Munukayumbwa, an article titled “Edwin Litunga Lubosi II and his traitors have been dribbled by Edgar Lungu”.
In count three, particulars of the offence are that Munyinda Munukayumbwa, on 30th March, 2019 in Mongu district of the Western Province of the Republic of Zambia whilst acting together with unknown people without lawful authority did make preparation for carrying on warlike undertaking by a way of circulating on his Facebook account in the names Barotseland Watchdog an article titled “Barotseland is not western province - Ngambela of Barotseland Mukela Manyando must hear this and perhaps he must go back to the village”.
In count four, particulars of the offence are that Munyinda Munukayumbwa, on 9th April 2019 in Mongu district of the Western Province of the Republic of Zambia whilst acting together with unknown people without lawful authority did make preparation for carrying on warlike undertaking by a way of circulating on his Facebook account in the names Barotseland Watchdog an article titled “Breaking news - Senior Chief Amukena arrested by the Army”.
In count five, particulars of the offence are that Munyinda Munukayumbwa, on 17th April, 2019 in Mongu district of the Western Province of the Republic of Zambia whilst acting together with unknown people without lawful authority did make preparation for carrying on warlike undertaking by a way of circulating on his Facebook account in the names Barotseland Watchdog an article titled “The people of Barotseland defended Litunga Lubosi Imwiko II during the Chongwe Commission of inquiry”.
In count six, particulars of the offence are that Munyinda Munukayumbwa, on 17th April, 2019 in Mongu district of the Western Province of the Republic of Zambia whilst acting together with unknown people without lawful authority did make preparation for carrying on warlike undertaking by a way of circulating on his Facebook account in the names Barotseland Watchdog an article titled “Litunga Lubosi Imwiko II and Malozi”.
Meanwhile, sources within the Zambia police command in Mongu have reportedly disclosed to social media Barotseland Broadcasting Network (BBN) that the main complainants in Munyinda Munukayumbwa’s cases are the Barotse Royal Establishment (BRE), who must now prove their ridiculous accusations against him.
However, Munyinda, who was released on bail yesterday, has told BBN that he is ready to meet the BRE in court, and he will seek to use his trial to expose the frivolous BRE.
Munyinda Munukayumbwa's case has been adjourned to the 14th and 28th of June 2019, and then 25th and 26th July 2019 for trial.
He was arrested on 14th May 2019 by the Zambian oppressive police forces in Mongu and he has been in custody ever since that time until yesterday when he was released on bail.
